Since the start of Hongmeng OS’ story, there are different statements made by the company officials that differentiate from each other on this subject and creates infinite confusion but in the midst of all of this misconception now we have got a new report that hints the company is planning launch this OS in its upcoming smart TV.

On July 15th, Honor President, Zhao Ming officially announced Honor’s new product category ‘Smart Screen’ and confirmed that this TV series will be unveiled in early August.

It’s expected that the company’s self-developed OS will be launched with Honor’s first-ever TVs, that’ll be released at Huawei Developer Conference on August 9, told sources industry source, reported by Yicaiglobal.

At the time, when Zhao announced the smart screen category, he also hyped that Honor’s TV will come with features like information sharing, content management, and multi-device interaction.
