HarmonyOS 3.1 is under development and we today revealed that the company is working on an expansion plan. And now, we’ve some new inputs about the latest HarmonyOS 3.1 features and optimizations.

According to the information, HarmonyOS 3.1 has made improvements in app startup and loading time, which is now faster than HarmonyOS 3.0. Next comes the optimizations in the animations, which we’ve seen in the past video demonstration. These animation effects appear in the notification center, widget size customization, popup app window size adjustment, and other elements of the UI.

The animation is now fluid as compared to the past HarmonyOS and now, it has a better and seamless look to provide a better user experience.

HarmonyOS 3.1 also brings new modifications in features such as small screen app services and the resizing of the app itself. The control panel now has a camera app preview right beside the audio controls, which makes it convenient to access. However, we can’t confirm why Huawei added a camera icon to the control panel, while it’s available on the home screen.

Moving on, there are brand new enhancements for the keyboard settings and input system. Yet, specific details are yet to come on these upbringings. That’s it, these are some refined improvements and features of HarmonyOS 3.1 beta. Still, there is a large room of information that could appear in front of us with the final release.

Meanwhile, this news revealing confirms that Huawei has developed HarmonyOS 3.1 as a major bug fix and feature improvement version of the HarmonyOS operating system universe. Also, this is an amazing approach from the tech maker.

So, HarmonyOS 3.1 could be a better appetizer before HarmonyOS 4 comes down as a major player. Currently, Huawei is testing HarmonyOS 3.1 on Huawei P50 and P50 Pro devices in China. However, the company is also rehearsing a beta test on the Mate 50 series, and a public version of the software is likely to announce next month.
