We’re in August and Huawei has already released the August 2023 EMUI security patch details, while smartphones are waiting to grab these new security improvements for a better user experience.

If you are wondering, which devices are listed in the monthly and quarterly updates cycle, then you are in the right place. Below you can check all of the latest Huawei smartphones, which the company is still supporting to upgrade with new EMUI firmware in August 2023.

According to the information, these phones run different versions of EMUI including EMUI 12 and EMUI 13. While the company will send them security patches, system optimizations as well as major improvements.

Huawei Mate series:

  • Huawei Mate 50 Pro, Huawei Mate 50, Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Huawei Mate 30 Pro, Huawei Mate Xs 2

Huawei P series:

  • Huawei P50, Huawei P50 Pro, Huawei P50 Pocket, Huawei P50 Pocket Premium Edition, Huawei P40 Pro+, Huawei P40 Pro

Huawei nova series:

  • Huawei nova 10 Pro, Huawei nova 10, Huawei nova 10 SE, Huawei nova 9, Huawei nova 9 SE, Huawei nova 8i, Huawei nova 8, Huawei nova 7, Huawei nova 7 SE

Huawei Y series:

  • Huawei nova Y90, Huawei nova Y70, Huawei nova Y61, Huawei nova Y60

Meanwhile, EMUI 13 beta is still on the run and the company is now preparing for the stable release. Some of the phones have not been mentioned in the EMUI 13 upgrade plan but we’re expecting that the company would honor these users with a surprising rollout.

You can always check for the latest software update manually via the phone’s Settings > System & updates and then Software updates. From here you can follow the on-screen instructions to download the latest build version.
