Today, Google released Android 14 Beta 5 software for the beta participants of this new Android operating system version. Google said that Android 14 is only weeks away from the stable release. Therefore, it’s announced to be the last milestone update before the official OTA rollout.

“Beta 5 is our third Platform Stable Android 14 release, which means that the developer APIs and all app-facing behaviors are final for you to review and integrate into your apps, and you can publish apps on Google Play targeting Android 14’s SDK version 34. It includes the latest fixes and optimizations, giving you everything you need to complete your testing.” wrote Google.

Android 14 Beta 5 (UPB5) with the August 2023 security patch is available for the Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, and Pixel Fold, as well as the Android Emulator.
