On January 26, 2022, Xiaomi has officially launched the MIUI 13 software based on Android 12 for global smartphone consumers. During the launch, Xiaomi has also shared an MIUI 13 upgrade roadmap for the device that includes different models from a number of different ranges.

MIUI 13 comes with a bunch of new features, including a sidebar to quickly access all of your favorite apps. Features such as liquid storage improve the efficiency of the overall storage system by 60 percent.

The atomized memory for background process efficiency is increased by 40 percent. The use of caused algorithms brings faster processing speeds and higher performance. The balance feature could now increase the battery life by 10 percent in different use cases.
