EMUI 9.1 registration open for Honor Play in India, stable update coming in early August

Honor has already started rolling out the stable EMUI 9.1 update to its many smartphones.

Now, we have good news for the Honor Play users in India. According to Honor India, the registration for EMUI 9.1 update for Honor Play on HiCare application has begun. Honor India said:

“We would like to inform you that registration for EMUI 9.1 update on HiCare has begun.”

Honor previously said the OTA or stable EMUI 9.1 update will be available by end of July 2019. But now the company moved the release date to early August. Honor India added:

“You can register on HiCare app for EMUI 9.1 or you will get the update through OTA by the first of Aug’19.”

The EMUI 9.1 update is based on the Android 9 Pie and brings many improvements to the smartphones. You can check all the features of the EMUI 9.1 here.

We suggest you wait at least 7 days after the given release date by Honor. Sometimes it takes time to reach every smartphone – you can wait or you can reach to HiCare application for the latest software update.
