EMUI 11 Public Beta rolling out for Huawei P40 series, brings system, Bluetooth, security improvements and more

Huawei has confirmed the second batch of Huawei and Honor devices that proceeded towards EMUI 11 public beta. Meanwhile, the company has started to rollout the first public beta of EMUI 11 for the Huawei P40 series that comes with new improvements.

According to the information, the first public beta of EMUI 11 for the Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro+ brings new improvements in the gallery and optimizations for Bluetooth, system, and installs the latest security patches.

This public beta announcement was made two weeks ago and with this rollout, Huawei has started the clock for the rollout of stable EMUI 11.

VERSIONS:

The first EMUI 11 public beta for the Huawei P40 series comes with EMUI version 11.0.0.145 upgrading from EMUI 11.0.0.126.

Gallery: Enhanced video editing functions, richer operation instructions in the timeline and editing options area, and more convenient optimized editing

Bluetooth: Optimized Bluetooth experience

System: Optimized system stability in some situations

Security: Integrated into Android 2020 October Security Patch
