Honor has now started to roll out three new major features to the Honor 30 running on Magic UI 3.1 (EMUI 10.1). These feature comes with the latest updates and belongs to the phone’s camera and system sections.
Honor 30’s latest software update installs the new dual-view camera recording feature, which allows users to record selfie and rear camera video and images side by side in a single picture.
The update also installs optimizations for Meetime calling, added AR measurement, multi-device control panel, and June 2020 security patches.
Similarly, Huawei also has a dual-view video mode. This feature uses two cameras at once to capture videos, enabling the user to shoot a video from different angles simultaneously. While one camera shoots a wide-angle, the other camera captures a close-up shot.
Camera: Added dual-view camera mode, record front and rear camera at the same time.
Mult-Device Control Panel: Allows you to connect to your devices more easily by using the Multi-Device Control Panel, such as when connecting to your audio input or output device during music and video playback. Swipe up from the left or right of the bottom edge when the screen is unlocked to access the Multi-Device Control Panel. Go to Settings> More connections> Multi-Device Collaboration to try it out.
Meetime: Removes the MeeTime tab from the Phone and Contacts apps. Use the MeeTime app to make MeeTime calls instead.
AR Measure: Added new AR measurement feature to measure object length, area, volume, of an object, and height of humans.
Security: Integrates the Android security patches released in June 2020 for improved system security.
Honor 30 receiving these latest features and optimizations with Magic UI 3.1 version 188.8.131.52 upgrading from Magic UI 184.108.40.206.
