Huawei Mate 40 series comes with the latest camera technologies and the new ring design rear camera setup. The cameras on the back look amazing on the color options offered by this flagship lineup.

But not all consumers want to keep these new Mate-series devices with a bareback. Therefore, they’ll try to put an extra layer of production to their smartphone using a back cover.

On this matter, Bruce Lee, Vice President of Huawei’s CBG Product Line cautioned Huawei Mate 40 series users about their case selection and advised them not to use a specific type of protective case as they can create some new issues.

Bruce said that metal case can cause a serious impact on the network antenna transmission efficiency and force smartphone to use larger transmission power to establish a network connection and leading to faster battery consumption.

Also, poor antenna signals will affect satellite signal delay for navigation, while magnets may also interfere with gyroscope and other motion-based sensors.

It’s a good thing that Bruce cleared the doubts of Huawei Mate 40 series users and helping them to avoid such issues caused by unnecessary accessories.
