December 2021 security update released for Huawei MatePad 11 (Global)

Huawei has started delivering the December 2021 HarmonyOS software update for Huawei MatePad 11 global variant. This latest update brings optimizations for third-party applications and system security.
According to the information, Huawei MatePad 11 December 2021 update comes with HarmonyOS 2 version 2.0.0.225, which is upgraded from the base build version 2.0.0.221 (C432E2R2P1). However, the new update arrives with a software package size of 216MB.
Furthermore, the December 2021 security patch fixes 1 CVE in framework, 2 CVEs in Kernel, 3 CVEs in the system, 3 CVEs in applications, and 62 CVEs in the third-party libraries for better system security.

Huawei MatePad 11 is powered by the Snapdragon 865 processor and sports a 10.95-inch display with an 86 percent screen-to-body ratio, WQXGA 2560 x 1600 pixels screen resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth UI and viewing experience.
The tablet brings a new 13MP (f/1.8 aperture, Autofocus) rear camera that can shoot up to 4k videos. There’s also an 8MP front-facing camera to take selfies.
Huawei MatePad 11 packs a 7250 mAh battery that supports 22.5W quick charging. Moreover, It’s one of the first Huawei tablets that comes with the HarmonyOS 2 operating system pre-installed with features such as a new user interface and better user experience as compared to the EMUI software system

Huawei AITO M5 and M5 EV will get HarmonyOS 3

During the Huawei P60 series launch event, Huawei Smart Car Business Cheif, Yu Chengdong announced that all AITO smart car models will get HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system by the end of this month.
HarmonyOS 3 for these AITO M5 cars will bring new features including a super home screen and smart car search. The net recommendation score of Huawei M5 car owners is 86.4%
Huawei also announced that the M5 and M5 EV high-end autonomous driving versions will launch in April, which won’t need high-precision maps. Yu Chengdong said that Huawei should be far ahead in the field of the smart cockpit and smart driving.

Today, Huawei launched HarmonyOS 3.1 and Huawei P60 series is the first smartphone to pack this new HarmonyOS operating system with a brand lock screen feature.
Yes, HarmonyOS 3.1 allows users to customize the lock screen with new options and always-on-display features. This version supports 3D dynamic weather widgets, which enable you to easily obtain time, weather, date, notifications, and other information with AOD.
