Huawei is dispatching a December 2021 software update for the Watch GT 2 42mm variant. This latest update optimizes the system stability that helps the device to run more stable and improve the overall user experience.

According to the information, the December 2021 update for Huawei Watch GT 2 comes with the new version 11.0.14.68/67. However, this firmware is rolling in the Chinese market and soon expand to other regions along with its progress.

  • Huawei Watch GT 2 42mm variant getting new version 11.0.14.68 and 11.0.14.67 upgraded from 11.0.14.58 and 11.0.14.65 respectively.

Changelog:

  • Optimizes the system stability in some scenarios.

Update Steps:

Users can download this update through Huawei Health App. Just open the application and tap on the devices option and select “Huawei  Watch GT 2” there. Afterward, you have to select the latest update and follow the further procedure to install this firmware.

Things to know:

  • First, make sure to keep the smartphone and smartwatch in an adequate BT range.
  • Maintain more than 20% of battery level in the wearable.
  • Keep patience, the update may take some time to upgrade the installation package.

Huawei Watch GT 2 launched in 2019 and measure 21.8 x 41.8 x 9.4 (width, height, thickness) and weighs 29 grams. It is powered by Kirin A1 and comes with a display size of 42mm with a resolution of 454 x 454p. It packs with a long-lasting battery for up to 14 days and supports BT 5.0, Bluetooth calling, a microphone, and more.
