In the first quarter of this year, Huawei introduced P Smart Z, an affordable and full view display smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera. Two new patents from the company indicate that the next P Smart Z smartphone will come with new camera setup.

On June 11, 2019, Huawei filed two new design patents at the EUIPO European Union Intellectual Property Office that is also included in the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office), Both of these patents approved by the end of September (via LetsGoDigital).

The patent reveals smartphones with a single and dual rotating camera. When the user wants to take a selfie, the rear camera opens from the backside and flip right above the display to work as a front camera.

In the single-camera model, the rear side contains two color schemes similar to the P Smart Z, a secondary lens is placed below the rotating camera as well as a fingerprint sensor and LED flash.

The dual camera model has both cameras placed right into the camera rotating camera system right next to each other and the whole setup is on the top-middle of the phone. However, this model has only a single color scheme.

Huawei P Smart Z is quite a good smartphone, and the introduction of this device will revolutionize the whole lineup. However, we may have to wait for the next year to see its launch.
