Huawei recently announced the HarmonyOS 3 closed beta for legendary flagships – P20 and Mate 10 series in China. Today, we will share the first changelog and features of HarmonyOS 3 for both Huawei P20 and Mate 10 series.

Supports connecting to and interacting with more device types via Super Device, without even having to be logged in to the same HUAWEI ID.

Adds the SuperHub feature, which allows you to share multiple forms of content between apps and devices at a single time, by dragging text, images, and files to SuperHub.

Adds the Recommended section to the Highlights tab, which features selected photos of food, pets, and daily life.

[Handy service widgets]
Widget stacks: Drag widgets of the same size on top of each other to create a stack. Swipe up or down to cycle between widgets. Swipe down further to expand the stack and swipe left on a widget to remove it. Hold and drag a widget to adjust its position in the stack, or drag it to the home screen.
Widget combos: Drag widgets of different sizes and app shortcuts together to group them into a combo. You can adjust the combo size. [Resizable smart folders]
Touch and hold down on a folder to adjust its size based on the number of apps within it, so that it can fit into any available home screen space.
[Smart home screen layout]
Pinch to customize your home screen. You can sort apps and widgets by color or feature.

Receive service and app recommendations from the improved Celia Suggestions based on your usage habits, the current time, location, usage scenario, and more.

HarmonyOS 3 expanding for Huawei Watch GT 3 series users

HarmonyOS 3 for Huawei Watch GT 3 series is expanding in the global market. It allows more Watch GT 3 series owners to install the new features and start using them right away.
Last month, Huawei began to release HarmonyOS 3 for Huawei Watch GT 3 Chinese models. Within a few days, the company rolled out this upgrade for the global market. The software update for Huawei Watch GT 3 series brings many new features, which aim to improve the smartwatch.

It enables one to set a personalized watch face with an image from Gallery and make it transform into a kaleidoscopic effect with the crown’s rotation. Also, it has a new arc motion effect when you scroll through the watch face selection list.
Furthermore, the flashlight now has more colors along with a flashlight mode that will help you to access the feature more conveniently.
Quick replies are getting new optimizations, you can now send quick replies to social apps including Line, Viber, and Instagram directly from your smartwatch. This function supports EMUI and Android devices (other than HarmonyOS).

Huawei AITO M5 and M5 EV will get HarmonyOS 3

During the Huawei P60 series launch event, Huawei Smart Car Business Cheif, Yu Chengdong announced that all AITO smart car models will get HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system by the end of this month.
HarmonyOS 3 for these AITO M5 cars will bring new features including a super home screen and smart car search. The net recommendation score of Huawei M5 car owners is 86.4%
