Huawei has launched a new 7nm Kirin 810 processor that comes with a new AI energy efficiency and offers a wider range of on-device AI applications.

According to Huawei, the Kirin 810 is built on the 7nm process technology using Huawei’s self-developed Da Vinci NPU architecture, which improves software efficiency and accelerates AI performance.

The SoC consists of two high-performance Cortex A76 cores (2.27GHz) + six A55 cores (1.88GHz). The GPU used in this processor is Mali-G52.

Huawei said that Kirin 810’s NPU unit performance is higher than the Snapdragon 855 processor and even higher than Kirin 980 chip.
