Bluetooth connectivity optimizations rolling out for Huawei FreeLace Pro

Huawei FreeLace Pro is Huawei’s neckband-style wireless earphone that comes with several audio functionalities. It is easy to plug, pair, and charge with Huawei HiPair technology and can last up to 5 hours in just 5 minutes of charging.

According to the latest information, the Huawei FreeLace Pro wireless earbuds users are receiving new firmware update globally. It comes with version 1.0.0.156 and a negligible download size of 1.70MB.

This tiny software patch improves the Bluetooth connection stability of these earbuds to provide a seamless connection for a better audio experience. This update does not include any other improvement.

This update might take some time to cover all the eligible devices. But you can always check for the new software update manually. The update instructions are mentioned below.

How to check for updates on Huawei FreeLace Pro

To install this update on your FreeLace earphones, you just have to connect them to your smartphone via Bluetooth. Then click Settings and select Firmware update, now tap Check for updates and download.

Huawei FreeLace Pro:

Huawei FreeLace Pro comes with Dual-mic Active noise cancellation and triple-mic Noise cancellation for calls. It can provide up to 24 hours of playback on a single charge while charging with Huawei HiPair.

The earbuds support sensor controls such as magnetic control earbuds, a physical button for multi-function, power, and volume, and it also has a touch button on the left earphone.

It supports Bluetooth 5.0 and can be paired using Huawei HiPair. But the HiPair pairing option is supported on USB-C port devices of certain editions running EMUI 9.1 or later.
