Previous EMUI update: June 2022
The Huawei Nova 7i smartphone has previously received the June 2022 security patches with the EMUI version 18.104.22.168 with a package size of 231 MB.
The June 2022 update also integrated the security patches into the system for enhanced security and stability of the smartphone. This update was a bit late for the Nova 7i users as it arrived in August.
Although, the June 2022 and the August 2022 updates come along with the security patches and there are no new changes bought by both the updates. Yet we suggest you get the latest update as soon as it reaches you.

HUAWEI! We’re waiting for EMUI 13, when will it come?
Let’s check the stash of information we’ve.
Huawei Mate 50 Pro:
The Chinese tech maker is still expanding this flagship in the global market and it comes packed with EMUI 13. Yeah, it is the first Huawei smartphone to bring it pre-installed.
However, EMUI 13 is also taken as a major selling point for the smartphone because there are a number of new additions.
Last year, Huawei began EMUI 12 beta testing in December in European markets. But this year could be different as we’ve already passed through 25 days of November 2022.
Cutting to the chase, we now may have to wait until the next month (December) to get started with EMUI 13.
In a recent reply to a Twitter user, Huawei said it has not announced the EMUI 13 roadmap. There was no further statement made about the release though.
Huawei EMUI 13 comes with a variety of additions and improvements over EMUI 13, and these reflect on the user interface, animations, and user experience.
EMUI 13 will get you new service widgets for instant content, a feature to manage all of your smart devices, and more.
Beta and Software update:
Despite all of these speculations and insights, we suggest you keep an eye on the beta project via the BETA application. Here you can read our EMUI beta program step-by-step guide to check for EMUI 13 beta, instead of waiting for Huawei.
On the other hand, make sure that you are on the latest EMUI version to participate in the beta testing program. To check for the new firmware, simply go to Settings > System & updates and follow the screen with Software update instructions.
It’s time for Huawei P30 Pro November 2022 update, while EMUI 13 is still away
We’re still in November 2022, and it’s time for Huawei P30 Pro to download and install a new software update. Huawei is releasing this software to improve the phone’s security since we’re far away from EMUI 13.
According to the information, Huawei P30 Pro is getting November 2022 software update with EMUI 12 version 126.96.36.199. This software update is currently in the initial stage and will expand gradually. To be mentioned, the OTA package size at 270 megabytes to download.
Both Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are eligible to receive software quarterly updates. Related to that, the flagship received the August 2022 security patch.
Camera focus bug:
There is a camera focus bug that continues to compromise the photography experience on some Huawei P30 Pro units. The issue causes focus loss on the frame while operating the camera app.
Also, the viewport is blurry due to no focused area selected on the view. Meanwhile, the user noted that the camera is working fine on ultra-wide angle and macro modes.
We don’t have a confirmation whether this bug is fixed with this rollout. We definitely like to hear from Huawei P30 pro users on the resolution via Twitter or email@example.com.
On the other hand, the Huawei P30 Pro is also eligible to get EMUI 13. Still, Huawei has not confirmed a rollout date for old devices and the P30 series may take even further to install this firmware than the latest flagship.
EMUI 12 brought in a number of new features that install a brand new user interface for the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro users. But EMUI 13 will install new features and optimize the existing ones.
Users of Huawei P30 and P30 Pro need to look into the firmware section. Hope on in Settings > from here navigate to System & updates > tap on Software updates and then CHECK FOR UPDATES. Alternatively, you can check the firmware via the My Huawei app.
The update may not delete your data but we suggest you make a backup of important files.
