Alleged Huawei Mate 50 Pro appears in live image featuring a wide notch



A new live image has been leaked recently on Weibo, showing a device that comes has a glossy reflection on the display and a wide notch on the head. This live image is coming from a well-known Weibo tipster and is alleged to be the upcoming Huawei Mate 50 Pro.

Looking more into the matter, the alleged Huawei Mate 50 Pro live image has a big notch including an earpiece, which wasn’t available in the Mate 30 Pro, also the notch is real wide… it means real wide and consists of different sensors. The other thing to note is that the display has large curves on the left and the right side of the display. On the right side, it has the red power button along with a power key.

Although the device looks absolutely the same as the Mate 20 Pro, we cannot confirm whether it could be the Mate 50 Pro. However, the shape of the phone is very important. However, there’s a flip side of the story, as another tipster has come up with Huawei Mate 50 Pro protector glass image with a large earpiece hole, confirming the same front design for this upcoming flagship.

These two are one of the biggest revelations so far, as Huawei has not confirmed any details on this smartphone at the moment.

On this matter, the tech community has quite been active and previous leaks suggest that Huawei is ready to compromise the aesthetics of the Mate 50 series with the new features-packed showdown. This directly hints that Huawei is likely to bring new Huawei Mate 50 series with a new front-facing id and a new set of functionalities.

It’s also reported that the Huawei Mate 50 Pro will be equipped with new camera technologies powered by Qualcomm flagship series processor ISP but the phone would not have native 5G connectivity. Instead, it could rely on the 5G case to bring 5G network access.
