Huawei Mate 60 series

Over the past year, we’ve talked a lot about Huawei’s way back to 5G with the Huawei Mate 60 series and a recent leak further cement the return of this fast network.

According to information coming from classmateguan, Kirin is not making a debut for smartphones this year. Instead, Huawei will rely on Qualcomm for the chipset and the company will bring 5G access to Huawei devices with Snapdragon chip onboard.

Therefore, Qualcomm is the only way to equip 5G with the Huawei Mate 60 series, the tipster emphasized. And we totally agree with that.

The tipster also speculates that the company is likely to pursue the launch around October. This is also similar to the Huawei Mate 50 series unveiling last year. That’s all we’ve at the moment but it’s still surprising, as more of the users want to get the 5G in their hands.

4G:

After 2020, Huawei can’t print new chipsets, and its access to important components was disconnected by the US. This led to the shortage of 5G modems and antennas required to build 5G devices.

Kirin is also out of print, which caused trouble for the company. Hence, Huawei P40 and Mate 40 series were the last flagships to offer 5G connectivity.

Thereafter, Huawei was forced to launch only 4G smartphones and Huawei P50 became the first flagship to debut without 5G. Then the company also unveiled several devices, all on the 4G band.

Including the recent Huawei P60 series, which offers various new camera features and a unique design. Even after selling 4G phones, consumers continue to support Huawei with sale increments.

5G Return:

The comeback of 5G with the Huawei Mate 60 series will establish new confidence among customers. The company could add this new capability to its portfolio and sell it in the market for better figures.

As for now, Huawei has not confirmed the launch of the Mate 60 series and 5G. However, we’ll keep you posted with all of the action on this matter.
