Xiaomi has once again updated its EOL (End of Life) list and added a few more global devices that will not get HyperOS update support. These are some most popular models that will no longer receive new enhancements via software rollouts.

A few days ago, Xiaomi added a few Redmi and POCO models to its EOL list. EOL (End of Life) listing includes those models that complete their life cycle are won’t be compatible with the upcoming major software updates and their features.

EOL procedure isn’t a new theory in the Xiaomi world. The Chinese OEM often adds those devices to the list that are two or three-year-olds or completed their update cycle.

The company has now added three more global Xiaomi devices to the EOL list, ending the HyperOS update support for them. The list includes Redmi Note 11T 5G (India), POCO M4 Pro 5G (India), and Xiaomi 12X (Europe, Russia, Global, Taiwan).

  • Redmi Note 11T 5G
  • Xiaomi 12X
  • POCO M4 Pro 5G

Being an EOL device, these models won’t receive any major software updates, security rollouts, or any other improvement patch. They would continue to run on the latest updated version. Users can feed them with unofficial builds like LineageOS.

The respective device owners can switch to a new Xiaomi model that supports the latest HyperOS 2 or 2.1 version. as per their preference. In case you don’t use your device for heavy operations, you can continue with the same handset.

Note: We do not prefer installing any unofficial upgrades to your devices. Hence, proceed at your own risk.
