Today, China Telecom will launch a new and stylish Maimang 20 smartphone and it is coming with top-notch camera and hardware specifications.
A few years ago, Huawei began selling Maimang, a China-exclusive smartphone series alongside China Telecom. However, the company was soon gripped by U.S. restrictions. So, Huawei freed Maimang devices from the U.S. curse and transferred it solely to China Telecom.
Looking at the details, China Telecom has shared a promo, which reveals key characteristics of the Maimang 20 5G. Before we move ahead, you should know that Maimang 20 will launch today at 19:08 (China time).
The promo poster shows a stylish dual-circle camera shape. However, the camera only adapts to dual cameras on each ring. Also, both ring cameras are polished with gold color. If we look closely, the design resembles quite possibly the Huawei P50 series.
On the flip side, Maimang 20 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 5G chipset. This mobile processor was unveiled last year and is made with 6nm process technology.
The chip provides up to 15% improved Kryo CPU and offers robust computing alongside a fast GPU. Also, Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ Technology powers up to 50% battery life in just 15 minutes.
On the front side, the phone is likely to sport a 6.78-inch screen with a center hole punch on the head. The display will equip FHD+ resolution (2388 x 1080 pixels).
Aside from these specs, Maimang 20 is also looking to provide you with the best affordable camera quality with 64MP main camera and a secondary 2-megapixel camera.
Furthermore, the phone will pack with a large 5000mAh battery that could recharge with a 40W super fast charger. More on this, the phone may bring a 12GB RAM version alongside 256GB of internal storage.
Since it’s a carrier-locked smartphone, consumers won’t have to worry about the sales channel. As all of the marketing will happen via China Telecom.
