Some Huawei P40 Pro users facing Bluetooth connection issue after 184.108.40.206 update [CN]
Huawei is providing a new HarmonyOS update for its eligible devices, which includes the P40 Pro smartphone grab 220.127.116.11. This update comes with the December 2021 security patch to improve the security and stability of the device. Recently a Huawei P40 smartphone user in China posted that the Bluetooth headset will cut off after being upgraded to HarmonyOS 18.104.22.168.
According to the report by the user, after installing the HarmonyOS 22.214.171.124 update to the device, the Bluetooth headset option started to disappear for ten seconds every time it is listened to on Huawei P40 Pro.
The headset shows an issue that the Bluetooth reconnection and reconfiguration are invalid. In addition, the user showed that it is normal to choose SBC/AAC for Bluetooth audio decoding. On the other hand, select the LDAC that is unable to connect.
Some users over the internet are curious after seeing the post and want to know which headset the user connected with the phone and compatibility could be a reason bind this issue. Further, the owner replies, he’s is using Weston W40 and this is not because of the headset as he using it for a long time.
