Samsung’s latest February 2022 security update is making its way to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphones to provide better system security. Last week, the company has already dispatched this update in Southeast Europe, Italy and countries.

In the latest edition, the February 2022 update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has arrived with Android 12 based One UI 4.0 firmware version F926BXXS1BVB3. To install this update, the corresponding device users need to download a massive software package size of around 2.9GB.

The February 2022 security patch brings fixes to various levels of vulnerabilities including for 2 critical, 29 high, and 15 moderate levels of CVE for improved system security and optimized performance.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is eligible for One UI 4.1:

After One UI 4.0, the One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 is the next major software version for which users are now waiting. Ahead on One UI 5.0, Samsung will upgrade its eligible device to One UI 4.1.

However, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is one of the eligible devices to get hands-on on One UI 4.1. This foldable smartphone was initially launched with One UI 2.5 followed by One UI 3.1 and One UI 4.0.

Here is how update:

To check for updates manually, open the phone’s settings, software update, and wait for the device to check for updates. If an update is available, hit the download and install button. Once the update process concluded, reboot the device.
