Samsung has started releasing the latest February 2022 security update for last year’s flagship smartphone Galaxy S20 FE 5G. The latest firmware brings fixes for dozen of exploits and issues to provide better system security and stability.

The February 2022 software update for Galaxy S20 FE 5G comes with built version G781BXXS4DVB1. However, this update is rolling out in the European countries including  Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, the UK, and more.

For improved system security, the latest February 2022 security patch fixes several security-related vulnerabilities including 2 critical29 high, and 15 moderate found in the latest One UI software system. Additionally, the 5 CVEs were already included in the previous patches.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy S20 FE 5G with One UI 2.0 on top of Android 10. Afterward, the company rolled out One UI 3.0 followed by Android 12 based One UI 4.0 major software updates for corresponding device users.

Following the new update policy, it is confirmed that 2021’s flagship Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is eligible to get Android 13 based One UI 5.0. On the other hand, S20 FE’s February 2022 update is gradually expanding and reach to more markets in the next couple of weeks.

Update Instruction:

You can check updates manually by visiting the phone’s settings, tapping on the software update. If an update is available, press the download and install button. After completion of the update process, the phone will automatically reboot so don’t forcefully shut down the device.
