Huawei officially takes part in Russia’s 5G network development

On June 7, Putin during a solidarity show with Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping told, aggressive U.S. tactics such as a campaign against Chinese telecoms firm Huawei will lead to trade wars and possibly real wars, reported Reuters.

Last month, The US added Huawei and its affiliates to its “Entity List” or simply called a trade blacklist – an action that bans the telecom giant from buying parts and components from US companies.

After the deal signed with Russia, Huawei will jointly develop a 5G network with Russian telecoms MTS, that could start testing the network by this year.
