OpenHarmony 2.0 Canary version released, Huawei with other firms donated the core codes

On 27th July 2021, the OpenHarmony 2.0 Canary event has successfully concluded under the guidance of the OpenAtom OpenHarmony committee. More than 160 expertise among 18 enterprises has participated in the event. This is the first-ever grand event in the open-source industry of the Chinese market.

Furthermore, Huawei with other firms including JD.com, Runhe, Ekatong, and many others had donated the core codes in four groups for the project. Besides, Andrei Gherzan, Bernhard Rosenkraenzer, and Jianyu Liu with their colleagues from the 18 firms had participated individually.

OpenAtom OpenHarmony project team working committee members mainly include Huawei, PATEO, JD.com, Runhe, Yikatong, Software Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Chinasoft International. Let’s check further, which group has donated in which group-

To be mentioned, the OpenHarmony project aims to build open-source community governance using the marketing-friendly open-source approach such as Apache 2.0. The previous information revealed that the OpenHarmony 2.0 Canary version has been officially debuted on Gitee by the 1st of June.
