Huawei stopped manufacturing the 5G smartphone two years ago, but its old flagships are still in demand in the market. As per the latest input, the three-year-old Huawei 5G handsets have enlisted in the fastest 5G devices.
Recently, the Ookla network testing group revealed the fastest 5G smartphones in the world Q3 2022 report. As the topic highlights, the report contains a list of the 5G network speed data of the devices from 10 countries.
The cooperation has tested several flagship models of Huawei, Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, and more. Further, the models were inspected in China, Japan, South Africa, the Philippines, the United States, Vietnam, Thailand, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and Germany.
Among these countries, China appeared as the fastest 5G network facilitating region. However, something more interesting is the Huawei handset’s rank in Chinese merchandise.
Surprisingly, Huawei has secured its success in the top four places in the fastest 5G China smartphone market. Four old yet dynamic models are aligned in the top 5 list. These are:
- Huawei P40 5G – Second Position
- Huawei Mate 30 5G – Third Position
- Huawei Mate 40 5G – Fourth Position
- Huawei Mate 40 Pro 5G – Fifth Position
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 9 5G smartphone achieved the first position in the list. On the flip side, Apple iPhone 14 Pro has excelled with good scores in many regions.
Mate 30 and P40 are still in the race
For your information, the Huawei P40 5G smartphone exhibits 349.15 Mbps of download speed. Whereas, the network speed of Mate 30 5G is 344.23 Mbps. Eventually, this shows that the three-year-old flagship models are still alive in the smartphone race.
Will the P60 series be a 5G model?
Currently, Huawei is seamlessly working on the iconic model – the P60 series. While we have surfaced many rumors so far, the phone also hearsay to be a 5G model.
Since the flagship P60 is expected to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and many other supreme technologies, we may find the 5G network on its board as well. Perhaps, an official statement on this matter is still awaited.
