Next phase HarmonyOS for these 6 Huawei devices will start later this month

Huawei has almost reached the finish line of HarmonyOS 2.0 beta testing for its eligible devices. All the top and mid-range devices are now running on the new mobile operating system and providing the next-level experience to consumers. Now, Huawei has announced that the next round of HarmonyOS public beta for 6 Huawei and Honor devices that will start by the end of this month. This time, the 6 device includes both smartphones and tablets.

The HarmonyOS public beta for 6 Huawei devices allows users to experience this brand new operating system and its features without participating in the closed beta program. Any eligible device owner can upgrade and enjoy the latest changes ahead of stable rollout.

Devices eligible for next HM OS public beta:

  • Huawei Nova 8 SE Vitality Edition
  • Huawei MediaPad M5 Youth Edition 8-inch
  • Huawei MediaPad M5 Youth Edition 10.1-inch
  • Huawei Enjoy Tablet 10.1 inch
  • Honor Tablet 5 8-inch
  • Honor Tablet 5 10.1 inch

HarmonyOS public beta for 9 devices:

Just a day ago, Huawei has officially confirmed and began HarmonyOS 2.0 public beta testing for 9 devices from Huawei and Honor brands in China. This batch of devices consisted of very old models such as Nova 3i, Nova 2s, Honor Play, Note 10, Tablet X6, and more.

After the completion of the public beta phase, these smartphone devices will get tickets to stable HarmonyOS rollout. However, the HarmonyOS 2.0 for smartphone devices is limited to the Chinese market.

On the other hand, the global Huawei users are waiting for their to test HarmonyOS on their models. Meanwhile, the company has released the EMUI 12 inspired by HarmonyOS globally.

HarmonyOS 2.0:

HarmonyOS 2.0 is a next-generation operating system, which provides seamless cross-device connection in all scenarios. More importantly, Huawei is installing this new OS not only in recently launched but also in devices released back up to 2016. This reflects the real care for the oldest device from the company.
