New Huawei open-type earphones will focus on fast audio transmission

Last month, Huawei announced the launch of new open-type earphones, in the following, new information revealed that this new pair of wearables will focus on providing a seamless audio transmission to users.

Tipster FixedFocus said today that the upcoming Huawei headphones will increase comfort for long-term use cases. Also, Huawei will use low-loss transmission and full-band optimization to provide a new user experience.

Liu Dongfang, President of Huawei Devices Business Group Audio and Smart Accessories Product Line revealed that this new form of headphones is coming by the end of this year.

Dongfang revealed that the new product will be compatible with existing Huawei smart wearable devices including earphones semi-in-ear headphones, smart glasses, and others.

In September this year, Huawei released the L2HC 3.0 standard along with China’s audio industry partners. This has become the world’s fastest lossless sound quality transmission among audio codec formats.

The L2HC brings strong anti-interference, high transmission bit rate, and great compatibility. This technology was first used in Huawei’s FreeBuds Pro 3 TWS wireless headphones. It could boast up to 1.5Mbps of strong Bluetooth transmission bit rate. Read more here.
