New HarmonyOS 4 trial version program opens for Huawei Mate 60 and 28 other devices

Today, Huawei announced a new HarmonyOS 4 trial version program for 28 flagship devices including the Mate 60 series. The company has opened the beta program only for community members while initiate a public testing phase in the future.

As per the official details, the new experience version of HarmonyOS 4 will offer easier-to-use operations, a pure and safer operating system, as well as a responsive device functioning. To explore these facilities, you need to participate in the latest beta.

It is worth mentioning that the new HarmonyOS trial version program grants only 2000 slots (200 for log version users and 1800 for no log version users). Moreover, after upgrading to the new build, you cannot attain the previous version.

The beta pool is open till March 15 and registered users will be reviewed before the end of this month. Hence, do not miss the chance and take part in the activity now.

How to register?

Open the My Huawei application on the eligible smartphone or tablet. Select the Home tab and click on the “Upgrade” option. Now follow the on-screen prompts to register, fill in your details, and hit the submit tab.

The company will take a few days to review your application whereas, the overall reviewing process will be completed before March 30. Users can look for the official review status via the My Huawei app to learn about their application’s progress.

New Version = HarmonyOS NEXT?

The recent announcement created a buzz among Huawei phone users. Many device owners said that it could be a transitional version or the HarmonyOS 4.1 variant before the official HarmonyOS NEXT recruitment. Although the company has not commented on this subject so far.
