Huawei has begun to rollout the May 2023 EMUI security update for its devices. This is the latest rollout that comes amid the company has announced EMUI 13 upgrade plan for various smartphones.

May 2023 EMUI security update is first spotted to release for Huawei Mate 40 Pro smartphone. Therefore, the EMUI update version is 12.0.0.238 and the package size is 284 megabytes.

EMUI 13 upgrade plan reveals that the Huawei Mate 40 Pro will come in stable mode in August this year. This new version brings smart folders with multiple layouts. The company will get you service widgets management using stack and grouping.
