March 2024 EMUI security update lands on Huawei Nova Y90

March 2024 EMUI update is now making its way to the Huawei Nova Y90 smartphone users. The company has kicked off the latest firmware in Russia and Europe. But it won’t take much time to expand the newest improvements to more regions.

The Nova Y90 smartphone came into existence with the pre-installed EMUI 12 operating system. However the tech giant soon offered the respective device owners with EMUI 13 upgrade including a variety of effective features and benefits.

Huawei Nova Y90 is getting the new March 2024 update with the EMUI version 13.0.0.276. Users need to download a software package of 378 Megabytes to install the latest safety fixes and security refinements to their Nova Y90 smartphone.

This release only brings the March 2024 security patch on board. Yet the new addition ensures an extra layer of safety to your important data and other essentials. It further increases the device’s potential to fight against malicious attacks.

March 2024 update also accompanies fixes to around 29 vulnerabilities hiding in your devices. It even eliminates 6 privacy exposures that appeared in the last software version and makes your smartphone more reliable and productive for usage.

EMUI 14 for Huawei Nova Y90?

The company has currently nominated 13 devices including the Nova 11 series and Nova Y91 for the EMUI 14 beta update. There is no slot for the Nova Y90 handset in this software wagon for the moment. Although Huawei is likely to add more devices to this program and we can hope the same for the respective phone.
