Mango TV completes HarmonyOS native app beta version development

Huawei has announced that China’s Mango TV adapted to the HarmonyOS native app beta version. The media platform completed the testing build and can roll out the official version with significant capabilities for its users any time from now.

Mango TV is one of the most popular apps among youth in China. It lets you create videos and share them online. One can also watch their favorite content such as series, movies, cartoons, music, and entertainment from original TV on the app.

Also known as MGTV, Mango Television comes under the Mango Excellent Media, controlled by the Human Broadcasting System. To expand the reach of the respective application to more users, the media platform tied up with Huawei HarmonyOS.

Huawei has now shared the results of the new cooperation where the Mango TV app has completed the HarmonyOS native application beta version development.

The Chinese tech giant reveals that the HarmonyOS NEXT-based Mango TV beta app ensures high-quality content. It will ultimately offer a better,  smarter, and more efficient experience to users in terms of performance and stability.

At the same time, Mango TV users will observe efficient audio-visual traits while watching their favorite content in the app. Thus, a new experience is on the way.

Huawei also thanks the Mango TV channel as it gave the chance to connect with the youth more closely. Together, things will lead to the expansion of the HarmonyOS app ecosystem in China with more innovative apps and services for consumers.

The Chinese OEM aims to complete the adaptation of the most number of applications before the HDC 2024. During the event, the company will unveil the HarmonyOS NEXT beta version for the general consumers, teasing a new beginning!
