Huawei Mate 50 series is the new smartphone love of consumers. The proof is the below-given images reflecting long queues of customers outside the company stores. Looking at the craze of users for Huawei Mate 50 models, the company instantly decided to accelerate the production of the respective devices.
The newly-released flagship – the Mate 50 series officially made its appearance in front of users on September 21 in the form of their first sale. However, it’s a fact that the curiosity and madness of consumers were already at their peak from the launch day of these iconic handsets.
Ultimately, on the sale day, Huawei was able to see the actual fondness of people among Mate 50 models. Thousands of customers clustered around the stores to take on the tech-pack smartphone in their hands and enjoy an immersive experience.
It is worth mentioning that in this long queue of customers, many were the old Huawei fans that are still using the predecessor – Mate 40, or the P50 models. Even those, who are already carrying a high-end and branded smartphone in their pocket were also in the count of the Mate 50 series fame.
Eventually, this shows, how popular is the Mate 50 series among people. No doubt, the credit for this popularity goes to the excellent implementations that Huawei has made in these phones. Comparatively, the new product of Huawei is giving tough competition to Apple iPhone 14 in terms of stardom as well.

Huawei removed Leica branding from P50 devices
Huawei P50 series comes with an awesome camera system and brings you better hardware and software camera capability. However, the company has removed Leica camera branding from the recently manufactured Huawei P50 series models.
According to the official listing on Vmall, the company has removed Leica logo branding from Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and P50E smartphones. This could have happened after the cooperation of both companies has expired.
Post-launch, we can see that Huawei P50 devices bring Leica branding below, the dual ring camera system. The font was initially mentioned vertically with various camera values but they were removed in the latest listings.
The latest listing only shows the ‘HUAWEI’ logo on the rear side and the space below the camera remains blank.
Check the image below to identify the changes. The new one is on the left and the right one is old.
Other than, the branding, Huawei has will continue to sell these phones at the same pricing for all three models. Also, these phones will be shipped with a charging set on hand.

Huawei P50 series:
Huawei P50 series brings a dual ring camera design and looks very good in the new tea gold color. On the other hand, it’s packed with HarmonyOS 2 and upgradable to HarmonyOS 3. For global users, it has been sold with EMUI 12.
The phone lineup is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and featured 8GB of RAM.
It’s not confirmed but reports suggest that Huawei could launch an XMAGE version of the Huawei P50 Pro that will boast new picture quality in photography.
Huawei Mate 50 Pro makes global debut at €1299
Huawei Mate 50 series continues emerging in the newspaper headlines. After officially taking its first breath in the Chinese market on 21 September with its grand sale, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro is now keeping its leg on the global stage.
A few days ago, Huawei shared a poster revealing that it will conduct a global launch for the Mate 50 Pro by the end of this month. Alongside, the company also mentioned a few regions where it will bring on the dynamic model.
So far, only Chinese users have gained the immersive benefits of the Mate 50 series. Consequently, now it’s time for global users to enjoy a surprising and blissful experience with the ultimate Huawei Mate 50 Pro handset.
The latest information depicts that the global market will have two versions of the Pro variant: 8+256GB for €1299 (9274 yuan – 1,291.16 USD), and 8+512GB for €1399 (9988 yuan – 1,394.62 USD). In comparison to domestic models, international models are quite expensive.
Another notable point is that only Mate 50 Pro is eligible to tour the overseas market. The other member of the Huawei Mate 50 family (standard Mate 50, Mate 50E, and the Mate 50 RS Porsche Design) are not having any overseas listing plans for the time being. Perhaps, the company can schedule to bring them, later this year.
Difference between Chinese and Global Mate 50 Pro:
Apart from the price, there are some more differences between the Chinese and the global model. Firstly, instead of HarmonyOS 3.0, the international Mate 50 Pro pre-installs the EMUI 13 system on its internal framework. Thus, Mate 50 Pro users will be able to relish the latest version of EMUI in advance.
Besides, unlike the Chinese model, the global Huawei Mate 50 Pro does not support the satellite communication feature. This could make users a little unhappy as it is one of the most thoughtful features of the device.
But don’t worry as the other specifications and top features remain attached to the surface. Just like the Chinese version, this Mate 50 Pro also carries the XAMGE imaging technology with a 50MP ultra-optical camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens. On the front, it has a 13MP lens with a 3G depth shooter.
Further, it supports a 6.74-inch screen with top-class visual features. There is also a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and a 4700mAh battery that offers an overall boost to the performance and functioning of the respective smartphone.

XMAGE version of Huawei P50 Pro is yet to be confirmed
Once again, we have surfaced the new Huawei P50 Pro amid the news headlines. However, this time the information is quite suspicious. It’s a question that whether the new Huawei P50 Pro will showcase the XMAGE imaging technology or not.
We all are aware of the fact that XMAGE is the latest and most gigantic badge in the field of photography. After Mate 50 series, we had a huge belief that the new Huawei P50 Pro is the next smartphone member in the family to exhibit the XMAGE features.
Though, the fresh pinches coming from the Weibo blog of the very famous @FactoryDirectorShiGuan states something else. The tipster has recently shared a post with the P50 Pro image on his channel. Eventually, the post read a contradictory statement:
“Huawei P50 Pro new version will cancel the Leica logo. But there is no XMAGE for the time being. I don’t know whether there will be any follow-up.”
At the same time, the blogger also mentioned that the company will begin to provide the adapter with the new P50 Pro handset. Thus, users don’t need to run in the market for purchasing additional equipment to charge their new device.
Apart from the interrogative twitch, the tipster hasn’t made any comment on the processors or other vital specifications. Neither the analysts nor Huawei has made any confirmation for the rumors related to the new P50 Pro smartphone, to date.
Huawei P50 Pro New with HarmonyOS 3.0?
Earlier, we reported that the new version in the P50 family will equip the latest HarmonyOS 3.0 interface. Alongside this, it may also adopt the XMAGE technology that the company recently introduced on the consumer surface.
In terms of specifications, there is a huge possibility that the P50 Pro smartphone will continue to showcase the same configurations as the other P50 models. But, at this point, things are just revolving around the chaos table and require a slight touch of the company on this matter.
