Leak hints near launch of Huawei Mate 40E Pro 5G 2023

Huawei preparing to relaunch Huawei Mate 40E Pro 5G and a new leak shows that this 2023 model is ready to return to the market.

Tipster Unclemountain brought information that Huawei will launch Huawei Mate 40E Pro 5G 2023 version, which has started its journey from zero. It means that the new Mate 40E Pro 2023 has passed China’s 3C certificate and network license. The phone doesn’t include Leica branding unlike the original Mate 40E Pro 2022. It makes sense since both of the companies already went their separate ways.

The tipster also said that the Mate device is already on the market. However, there’s no official promotion campaign spotted online. It’s not even listed on its online shopping website – Vmall. Yet, It could make its debut on the online platform without any official revealing. That’s what is being predicted.

Previously, a report revealed that the price of this new model will be relevant to the predecessor. For example, the 8GB+256GB version stands at 6499 yuan, and the 8GB+512GB model at 7499 yuan.

The first generation of Mate 40E Pro equipped with Kirin 9000L is 5 nanometer processed chipset. It has six cores including 1xCortex-A77 at 3.13GHz + 2xCortex-A77 at 2.54GHz + 3xCortex-A55 at 2.05GHz.

Kirin 9000L serves 22 core Mali-G78 GPU. Talking about its NPU units, there is a Large-core NPU + micro-core NPU (Neural Network Processing Unit).

Huawei Mate 40E Pro 5G uses a 6.76-inch display with FHD+ resolution (2772 x 1344 pixels). The screen generates 16.7 million colors, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother UI visualization. The screen also has a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Currently, it’s unconfirmed whether the Huawei Mate 40E Pro 2023 will tweak any changes in the hardware or outlook of the device but it’s worth looking forward to.
