Next Year we might see a showdown of 5.5G network between iPhone 16 Pro and Huawei Mate 70 Pro smartphones with their advanced internet speed.

The latest rumor swirling on the internet suggests that next year’s iPhone 16 Pro model equip faster internet access with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X75 modem. This chip operates at the sub-6GHz spectrum and could boast a download speed of up to 7.5Gbps.

Qualcomm is promoting this new modem under the “5G Advanced” standard, which we’ve seen first in Huawei’s network initiative as 5.5G and 5G-A (Advanced) even before Qualcomm.

In terms of launch, Qualcomm said that the X75 modem has reached device makers in the second half of this year. Therefore, we can expect new devices to start using next year.

Huawei 5.5G:

Huawei has been a leader in 5 advanced technologies, the company launched a new set of 5.5G network solutions for the industry. Allowing them to achieve 10Gbps download and 1Gbps upload network speed.

In the meantime, there are also reports that hint that Huawei may also utilize 5.5G technology in smartphones. However, there’s no information on which and when it will make its debut in Huawei smartphones.

In a rough estimate, 5.5G/5G advanced internet will come into effect in flagship phones of phone makers. If so, then we would see 5.5G in the Huawei Mate 70 Pro if not with the Huawei P70 Pro flagship in early 2024.

Huawei’s return into the smartphone world with 5G is causing major attention among consumers. Allowing Huawei to pursue major changes in smartphone innovations.

Showdown:

Over the past two months, Huawei showed us that it’s a real rival to Apple. Therefore, the iPhone 16 Pro and Huawei Mate 70 Pro would make more sense even next year with its fastest 5.5G internet access.
