In 2020, Huawei changed over 850,000 networks and stopped millions of illegal access

Bill Tang, President of Huawei Global Technical Service Department delivered a keynote speech at Huawei User Group Meeting 2021. This speech was titled “Target Efforts to Protect Networks and Bring Warmth with Huawei Service”.

Mr. Tang also shared some interesting facts regarding the network changes that Huawei has made last year. He said, in 2020, Huawei Global Technical Service (GTS) implemented 850,000 network changes and intercepted unauthorized access millions of times.

Huawei GTS provides 5 ‘uninterrupted’, which are uninterrupted network operations, uninterrupted supply of spare parts, uninterrupted TAC response, uninterrupted onsite network inspection, maintenance, and uninterrupted warm customer communication during the pandemic and beyond.

He said the pandemic stirred the whole industry, Huawei provided uninterrupted services including – network operation, spare parts supply, and technical support center, etc. Furthermore, the company will also stick to the promise to provide uninterrupted service in the coming year also.

Huawei’s Network Management:

Huawei has a team of about 4,500 maintenance experts to provide stable network operation. The expert team daily guides the customers’ daily maintenance and solves the stable operation for hundreds of network systems worldwide.

As per the cloud platform experts’ risk analysis report, about 85% of the major risks precisely deleted through the network protocol of the company. It helps to prevent 500 major accidents across the globe.

Furthermore, Huawei owns about 1000 global technical support centers in the world. The technical maintenance team members work to overcome the network challenges for the customers to bring the best network experience.

At last, Tang concluded by saying that Huawei uses 4G and 5G collaboration algorithms. Only the best solution can assure a stable connection and help avoid network security problems.

Huawei User Group Meeting:

Since the first Huawei User Group Meeting 13 years ago, an Advisory Board composed of 12 representatives from Huawei’s customer base has worked with over 440 customer volunteers to actively offer leading industry insights that formulate suggestions for Huawei’s operations.

Then, in collaboration with Huawei’s project teams, the Board participates in improvement projects to address the identified top issues. To date, more than 60 such projects have been implemented to continually improve the quality of Huawei’s products, services, and solutions, and create greater value for our customers.
