April EMUI security update rolling out for Huawei Y9 Prime 2019

Huawei is expanding the April 2020 security update for several Huawei and Honor devices. In some markets, the April update is also tagged with some new features such as Huawei Assistant and Smart Charge.

Now Huawei has started to send a new software update for Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 users, this update brings April security enhancements. However, the update doesn’t seem to include changes regarding the Assistant and smart charging.

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 April Update Changelog:

Security: Integrates Android security patches released in April 2020 for improved system security.

April 2020 Security: April 2020 security update includes patches from Google and brings fixes to 5 critical, 12 high, and 1 medium level of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

VERSION:

The latest update for Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 comes with version 10.0.0.205 and 87.16MB in size.
