Huawei Y5 Lite with EMUI 8 receiving new software update with system stability improvements

Some of the old smartphones are very far from HarmonyOS, and at the moment, these devices are receiving new software updates. Related to this matter, Huawei is sending the latest firmware update for the Huawei Y5 Lite smartphone users.

According to the information, Huawei has pushed a new EMUI 8.0 version 1.0.0.150 (C185) with an update size of 120 MB for Y5 Lite device owners. This update mainly brings the system stability improvement for the system.

  3. Do not forcefully turn off the phone, once the installation is started.

There are two ways that you can download this latest software update, both of these areas the following:

VIA SETTINGS:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on System
  3. Tap Software update
  4. Tap Check for Updates
  5. Download and Install
  6. Install

After the installation and restart, we recommend you let the system optimize the new application so your device can run smoothly on further commands.

VIA SUPPORT:

You can also request this update via the Support app with the following instructions.

  1. Open the Support app
  2. Go to the Services tab
  3. Tap on Update
  4. Download and Install
  5. Install
