Huawei is rolling out the October 2023 update for the Huawei Watch GT 4 smartwatch in the global market and it brings new improvements for sleep and SpO2 blood oxygen monitoring capabilities.

Huawei is sending this upgrade for the Watch GT 4 series users with HarmonyOS software version 4.0.0.109 and a downloadable package size of 47 megabytes.

This is an important installation for the users as it will optimize sleep monitoring accuracy. On the other hand, the upgrade also improves the accuracy of SpO2 measurement.

Both of these features are popular among consumers and allow users to check and record their sleeping vitals and blood oxygen levels. However, the changelog doesn’t bring any other capabilities or upgrades.

Huawei Watch GT 4 comes in two dial shapes – octagon and round. These two watches have two sizes – 41mm and 46mm. The company is shipping various color options and straps for this smartwatch.

Below you can check some important notes before installing the October 2023 update for the Huawei Watch GT 4.

  • For a better user experience, it is recommended to first update the Huawei Health app to the latest version in the app store.
  • Do not disconnect the Bluetooth connection during the update. If the update fails, try again.
  • It may take a little time to update the wearable. Wait until the progress bar on the device shows the end of the process. The device will automatically restart after the update is complete.
  • If you encounter any problems while using the device, call the Huawei customer hotline or visit a Huawei customer service center.
