Huawei Watch GT 3 SE gets June 2023 update

Huawei is rolling out a brand new software update for the Watch GT 3 SE smartwatch in the global market. This new update for Huawei Watch GT 3 SE comes with new system optimizations released in the month of June 2023.

Launched in October last year, Huawei Watch GT 3 SE is a budget-friendly version of the Watch GT 3 lineup. This new smartwatch has plenty of new features along with a robust mechanism that is ready to support your health.

This wearable is a combination of a casual look and a sporty feel.  The Watch GT 3 SE sports a  1.43-inch large AMOLED display, featuring a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. It comes in two colors – Black and Green with matching straps.

Following its unveiling, Huawei keeps on sending new software for the device to improve the user experience. The June 2023 update is no exception and brings new performance optimizations.

You can download this new version with firmware 3.0.0.61. Since the watch runs HarmonyOS 3 out of the box, this is an incremental update to the existing firmware.

1. Open the Huawei Health app
2. Select your smartwatch
3. Go to the firmware section
4. Check for the latest update

To get the best experience make sure that your phone’s Huawei Health app is updated to the recent version. To do so, jump on the AppGallery and head to the updates section.
