Huawei is now rolling out a new software update for the global users of the Watch GT 3 Pro smartwatch, which brings new system stability improvements released in the month of June 2023. This is good news for all of the Watch GT 3 Pro owners, as this new release aims to improve the user experience.

According to the information, Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is getting system stability improvements update with firmware version 3.0.0.78. The OTA package weighs about 43 megabytes in size. Despite its large package, the changelog doesn’t mention any other improvements for the smartwatch.

There may be some hidden optimizations that could come into effect after the installation but we can’t confirm specifics at the moment. Therefore, it’s best to get this new update installed in your Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro to master the latest boost in performance.

HarmonyOS 3:

The new update for the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro comes over HarmonyOS 3 operating system. The watch received several features, which weren’t a part of HarmonyOS 2.1. If you haven’t already, then get the newest HarmonyOS 3 to enjoy these new additions.

SpO2 fix:

Previously, the wearable received 3.0.0.76 update with 76 megabytes size. It brought bug fixes and hotfixes that come with this software. As some users have feedback that the SpO2 measurement is not working accurately.

How to download:

Open up the Huawei Health app, and visit the connected smartwatch. Then tap on the firmware update section and check for a new update. Once fetched, the update will download to transfer it via Bluetooth. Please do not operate the watch during the upgrade procedure.
