Huawei Watch Fit 3 clears SIRIM certification, global launch seems imminent

Huawei Watch Fit 3 revolves around the certification database these days and now it has qualified for the SIRIM certificate. The next-gen smartwatch has now appeared in Malaysia, hinting at its imminent launch in the global market.

The information reveals that the Huawei Watch Fit 3 has been spotted on the SIRIM certification site. It has two model numbers SLO-B19 and SLO-Bo9. The company listed the device for approval on March 31 and received it today (April 01, 2024).

Here two models might refer to two variants just like the predecessors – Huawei Watch Fit 2 which has an Active version and the Classic model. Although a confirmation from the officials still awaits on this matter.

SIRIM certification site looks after the security of electrical and digital machines like wearables, smartphones, and others. It checks that the products are capable of export in Malaysia as per the country’s standard and consumers’ safety regulations.

Note that the Huawei Watch Fit 3 has already appeared on the CQC and SDPPI certifications, implying its launch in China and Indonesia. As of now, the company has also added Malaysia to the new smartwatch launch country list.

The certification lacks any major details regarding the Huawei Watch Fit 3. Yet some previous details note that the new device could bring upgraded design and improvements for the internal specification and overall health-related capabilities.

Huawei Watch Fit 2 packs enriched features including a 1.74-inch Full View AMOLED screen with a 336 x 480 pixels resolution. It further supports Bluetooth calling and healthy living management for efficient and reliable user experiences.

The watch shows quick workout animations as well as automatic SpO2 monitoring. It can run 10 days straight on typical usage and offers a 7-day battery life with heavy operations.
