Huawei Vision X65 TV launched, features 24MP Ultra Wide Angle camera, whopping 14 Speakers and more

Last year, Huawei introduced its first-ever smart TV – Huawei Vision, featuring its self-developed operating system Hongmeng OS AKA HarmonyOS.

And on April 8, 2020, the Chinese tech giant unveiled a new version of the Huawei Vision TV – Huawei Vision X65 with big improvements.

The Huawei Vision X65 features a 65-inch depth customized 4K OLED display with a narrow amount of bells around the corner. The screen supports HDR peak brightness of 1000nit and wide color gamut.

The display has a 1ms response time combined with a 120Hz high display refresh rate. It’s also the world’s largest display that passed the German TUV Rheinland certification.

The body of this new TV is ultra-thin at only 24.99mm. And in this slim body, it contains whopping 14 speakers (7 on left and 7 on right) that output up to 75W sound in total. Powered by Huawei Histen sound algorithms to provide high-quality sound experience.

The new camera system is one of the biggest upgrades of Huawei Vision X65 over its predecessor. The camera module does not only look wide but it also includes a 24MP ultra-wide-angle camera that can view 95 degrees horizontal and 78-degree field of view vertically.

The Camera is powered by Huawei’s self-developed HiSilicon Hi3559C camera chipset that greatly improves the AI computing with its NPU.

The camera module also has other sensors that works with AI and helps the TV to track user’s movement such as doing dance or yoga courses. It also supports Air gestures for features such as Pause, Play, Mute, Unmute, Playback progress and volume adjustment of the TV.

Huawei Vision X65 equips the new Honghu 898 smart chip, which is specially customized for OLED’s and includes an AI image quality engine to optimize image quality for OLED screen displays.

To deliver precise performance, the TV comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal performance.

The X65 runs on the company’s self-developed operating system – HarmonyOS/Hongmeng OS and works as an IoT control center, supporting more than 50 million HiLink smartphone products.

Moreover, it supports all of the smart applications like smart projection that helps users to cast their phone’s content directly into the large display of Huawei Vision X65.

Price and Availability:

The Huawei Vision X65 TV is priced at 24999 yuan. The pre-sale of Huawei Vision X65 will start on April 8 and the sale on April 26 in China.
