Huawei tops 5G smartphone maker list in China for 2021: Report

A Chinese research agency has released a 2021 5G mobile phone report. According to the researcher, this report is based on the daily basis of the device use case. By the end of 2021, the market share of 5G smartphones in China had reached 28 percent of the overall market share, which saw an increase of 2.3 percent compared to 8.5 percent by the end of 2020.

The data compiled by the market tracker shows that Huawei owns the top market bar with over 29.2 percent market share in the Chinese market, which is a big lead in the last year.

On the other hand, Vivo grabbed a 15.4 percent share in the 5G market. Meanwhile, Apple is trailing behind with a 14.1 percent share, followed by Oppo with 13.6%. Then comes Xiaomi with 11.4 % shares.

Other players on the list are  – Honor, realme, OnePlus, Samsung, and more.

Chinese market 5G yield:

Before sanctions and low production, Huawei has been the top smartphone marker in the Chinese phone market. Still, the Chinese tech giant roared in 2021 and reached first with a 22.8 percent market share.
