On October 30, Huawei unveiled its latest flagship, the Huawei Mate 40. The lineup consists of four models – Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro+, Mate 40 RS Porche Design. Alongside these devices, the company also revealed Mate 30E Pro 5G smartphone packed with the Kirin 990E processor.

Recently, a tipster on Weibo discloses that Mate 40E was initially equipped with a 50MP IMX 700 main camera but due to a shortage of components, it will be now changed to 64MP sensor.

Additionally, it has been revealed that it will be featured with the OV64A sensor, a single-pixel size of 1um, support for four-in-one pixels up to 2um, three exposures, four-in-one HDR, on-chip combination, and the tone mapping function can provide stable and high-quality image output.

Leaks also suggest that the Mate 40E comes with 6.5 inch OLED screen with 2376 x 1080p resolution, a processor with 2.86GHz frequency, and more. Also, this smartphone may bring Kirn 990 5G processor. However, an official confirmation on this phone is yet to come.
