A well-known tipster from Weibo claimed that Huawei will bring back 12GB RAM versions of smartphones on-sell again and it’ll happen soon. As previously, the Chinese tech maker has to stop selling the new 12GB variant due to the tight supply chain and issues.

This situation occurred after the company has been placed under U.S. sanctions that prohibit the company from purchasing high memory from the suppliers.

According to the information, Huawei could only sell 6 and 8GB variants of the top models. On the other hand, the company had to put a halt to the 12GB model due to supply chain issues.

If everything goes smoothly, the company could return the 12GB variants back to the shelf by the end of this month, which is an interesting development to witness.

It’s also revealed that the first one to restore with 12GB RAM includes Huawei Mate X2 foldable phone, which was initially launched at this memory capacity.

That’s not it, Huawei may also increase the use of 12GB RAM in the future and the upcoming Huawei Mate 50 series could also use this memory version in the top model.

Furthermore, there’s a new input from another Weibo tipster that suggests, Huawei Mate X2 could bring a new color version. The previous report suggests that the company may introduce a plain leather version of the device.

Huawei Mate X2:

Huawei Mate X2 comes with two display mechanisms and features an 8-inch screen inside and a 6.45-inch outwards for secondary use cases on the go. This foldable phone equips a 5nm Kirin 9000 processor and packs a 5400mAh battery, supporting a 55W superfast charger.

On the other hand, the Huawei Mate X2 features a 50MP quad rear camera system that sits on the rear side of the device. that’s not it, the phone has a 100X zoom-powered periscope lens as well as a number of different camera modes that shine your photographs.
