Huawei to prioritize P70 series over Mate lineup due to powerful imaging features: Tipster

As per the inputs, Huawei recently hosted an internal meeting that puts stress on the importance of the P70 series smartphones over the approaching Mate models.

The tipster further says that the next Mate lineup will likely focus on the launch of new Kirin chipsets. Eventually, the company already started its work on several fresh Kirin processors and may introduce them with the upcoming Mate flagship.

Meanwhile, the Huawei P70 series will target powerful imaging capabilities, marking the company’s return to the peak of camera performance. The tech giant wants to ensure a robust photography experience with the new smartphone lineup.

Huawei is trying to make major improvements in the optical framework for the P70 series, compared to the past three years. The company hopes to resemble the camera experience of the P40 series with new devices using advanced lens solutions.
