Huawei to launch Mate 50 and Mate V in the first quarter of 2022

At present, Huawei is working on a flip-style folding screen named Mate V that is reportedly launching before the end of 2021. This folding phone will come with HiSilicon Kirin 9000 with 4G network capability.

In the meantime, the upright Weibo tipster – DigitalChatStation has showcased the latest information regarding Huawei Mate 50 and the Mate V flip-style phone. According to the tipster, Huawei is testing a new generation of folding screen devices with under-screen fingerprint technology.

Furthermore, the retractable display will be made with the latest POL-LESS OLED technology with a nearly 120Hz screen rate. Most interestingly, this upcoming handset is being linked with Huawei’s next-generation folding phone- Mate X3 (tentative name).

Besides, the tipster also mentioned that the forthcoming Huawei Mate 50 smartphone will equip Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 898 processor and it’ll also make its way towards the market in the first quarter of 2022. It’ll be made with 4nm process technology but with 4G network capacity as the company is laking 5G RF components.

However, users are eagerly waiting for the launch of this smartphone, which may arrive in the first quarter of next year. Yet, the company remains to officially announce the arrival of this new Mate series flagship smartphone.
