Huawei has upgraded the Huawei Mate 10 and Honor V10 to the EMUI 10 in China in early January. The latest EMUI version is based on Android 10 and brings a new user interface, features, and more.

Now the company has started a new EMUI 10 beta recruitment for Huawei Mate 10 and Honor V10 devices to install an EMUI 10 feature separately (that wasn’t the package of the recent OS upgrade).

The beta activity is limited to a number of users and opened for the Chinese models. Upon successful selection, registered peoples will receive a new EMUI 10 update.

What’s New?

According to information, the new EMUI 10 program will install the “Multi-screen Collaboration feature”.

The Multi-Screen Collaboration allows you connect the phone to your laptop. Once connected, the phone screen will automatically pop up on the laptop. You can then easily check your content of your phone using a larger screen.

Multi-screen collaboration feature was introduced with EMUI 10 and since these are one the oldest smartphone receiving EMUI 10, Huawei may have to put some extra change to add the support of this feature to Huawei Mate 10 and Honor V10.

However, Huawei didn’t mention any other models from the Mate 10 series such as Mate 10 Pro for this feature, which we do not expect.

Note: Huawei and Honor phones need to support NFC to run this feature.
