Huawei talks about software ecosystem growth at HarmonyOS Connect Partner Summit

On March 22, 2024, Huawei hosted the HarmonyOS Connect Partner Summit in Shanghai. During the event, the company talked about how far the self-developed software system has come despite challenges and other internal/external factors.

To begin with, the Chinese tech giant explains its whole-house smart products. The respective category has gone through several upgrades in the past few years to enhance seven vital aspects: stability, installation ease, ease of navigation, high-end feel, flexibility, low cost, and stable life cycle.

On the other hand, HarmonyOS Connect launch brought in numerous partners (more than 2500) to the HarmonyOS SmartLink Ecosystem as well as the cumulative GMV exceeded 100 billion. Besides, the company continued to improve its whole-house scenarios for better and more efficient experiences.

This year, Huawei aims to concentrate on seven special new experiences of whole-house intelligence. Eventually, it will introduce exclusive ecological products in the subsystems like lighting and shading, as well as heating, cooling, and water use.

Consequently, these areas will help the company to achieve high-quality, and large-scale delivery of Huawei Smart Selection’s main product categories within 2024.

Hongmeng SmartLink leads to the era of HarmonyOS NEXT

The HarmonyOS SmartLink ecosystem targets a few crucial points: the concepts of openness, efficiency, and innovation. It aims to improve these points over time.

While development, HarmonyOS Zhilian supported dual connections and dual controls for seamless switching of connection channels. It also opened Celia’s voice online development for partners to manage the weak network scenarios and form a stable solution.

Huawei also unveiled the HarmonyOS Zhilian S+ standard testing program at the HarmonyOS Connect Partner Summit and said that the promotion of starlight tech has entered the fast lane. Thus, with the official version of HarmonyOS NEXT, we may find more beneficial capabilities on board.
